Ketan Kurwalkar completed his architectural studies (B. Arch.) from  Pune University in 2004.  He worked with reputed design firms in Pune  for 2 years before travelling to Dubai. After gaining experience in commercial and residential projects in Dubai, Ketan returned to India and started his proprietary practice. Ketan is deeply influenced by the works of Ar. Geoffery Bawa and Ar. Laurie Baker and has travelled to Sri Lanka and Kerala to study these master’s works.

Ketan experiments in his projects with different materials and textures. He beautifully and subtely captures various facets of his client’s like their personalities, background, likes, hobbies etc  and reflects it in his work. Architecture is the biggest form of art for him. 

 

Ketan is a health enthusiast and an active Cricket player; his discipline as a player reflects in his work. Osho's writings have had an influence on Ketan's thinking and he believes that simple is beautiful.
